The Senior Full Stack Engineer will play a key role in developing core product features, with a backend focus. This role involves working across the stack, building scalable systems, and contributing to infrastructure and product development in a fast-paced startup environment.

Aktos is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend Leaning) to help build and scale its fintech platform for the credit collections industry. This role involves working closely with leadership and engineering teams to develop product features, improve infrastructure, and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will take ownership of projects across the stack while focusing primarily on backend development.

Responsibilities:
- Develop full stack features with a focus on backend systems and performance
- Collaborate with leadership and engineers to define and execute product roadmap
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud services
- Design and implement scalable database solutions using PostgreSQL
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code and system reliability

Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django frameworks
- Experience with JavaScript, React, and Redux
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure tools like Terraform
- Ability to work across the full stack with strong engineering fundamentals
