This role focuses on enabling contributors, improving collaboration processes, and driving community initiatives. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and external contributors to ensure a thriving and sustainable open source environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate community initiatives and contributor activities
- Collaborate with developers and internal teams to align community and product goals
- Create content such as blogs and updates to engage and inform the community
- Facilitate discussions and problem-solving within open source communities
- Represent the community at events, conferences, and speaking engagements
- Encourage and support contributions to open source projects
Requirements:
- Strong interest in open source software and community engagement
- Experience with developer tools, Linux, or software development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple initiatives
- Experience interacting with developer communities and contributors
