Power BI Developer

The Power BI Developer will support a federal multi-domain platform by designing data models, building interactive dashboards, and transforming complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers across military and business operations.

cBEYONData is seeking a Power BI Developer to support a federal client’s enterprise data platform, enabling advanced analytics and decision-making across military and business domains. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and insightful data visualizations that translate complex datasets into actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations  
- Design data models, create DAX calculations, and define KPIs  
- Connect Power BI to various data sources including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms  
- Manage Power BI workspaces, security settings, and data refresh schedules  
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation  
- Document requirements, designs, and standard operating procedures  

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  
- 4+ years of experience with Power BI development  
- 4+ years of experience with SQL and data querying  
- Experience working in big data and cloud environments  
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques  
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
